Tomatillo-Avocado Salsa

(from Mark Miller’s Salsa book)

1 avocado
6-9 tomatillos (about 1/2 lb.)
1/2 bunch cilantro
juice of 1-2 limes
1 jalapeno (use seeds and ribs if you want it hotter)
Dash of salt and ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until well-blended.
