Stewed Okra

2 cups okra sliced into 1 inch pieces

Drop into pan with enough boiling water to cover bottom of pan by 1/8th inch. Simmer covered until tender (about 5-8 minutes). Season to taste.

Serve with melted butter, hollandaise sauce or vinaigrettes.
